Yes, it's a free game. And the community is a very active one; besides the original game there are many, many 'home-made' adventures to be found on the website. It's a very good and funny game, too!

Personally, besides Everlong, I'm really impressed with the Amaranth games, Ahriman's Prophecy and Aveyond. Also, I played Three the Hard Way for a bit, but I seem to remember something the matter with it. For now, I'm not sure what it was. I downloaded Dark Eternal: Dissolution, but haven't found the time to play that one; for the moment I'm totally hooked on Everlong ;D In a totally different genre, I very much like Thief. Presently, I'm playing The Dark Project on and off, but I understand that there are a couple of official versions after that, and even a lot of 'home-made' missions to play. Great fun; just don't play it at night with a house full of sleeping children and other people: they tend to wake up when you yell out because of a sudden scare! ;D You'll be pleased to know then that Aveyond 2 is due for release 19th Jan 07

@maniak 2000: thanks for the link. Downloading right now. If I ever get through Everlong I'll give it a try. rocketman685434: That must be something different; Aveyond 2 was released somewhere fall 2006 and I played it to the end! But still, it's a great game! I must go and look just what Amanda released this time. I know she's working on a totally new game, but that's far from ready, what I remember.

@maniak.Have started to play this game but part way through it crashes and returns to desktop.Tried it several times and does the same thing.Trying to find a forum for it.It might look a bit like Everlong but it certainly doesn't play like it.For a start money aint that easy to come by like Everlong is.

Here's another good Game Name: Dragon Destiny Engine: RPG Maker 2000 Map Count: 745 Status: Complete Download Link : phanxgames.com/pxg/projects/download.asp?id=498&secure=35642158162007405Pretty hard game since you don't get EXP or money from monsters. You level Up at certain point in the story as for money you'll have to search everything you can (cabinets, boxes, barrels, dressers, bones on the floor ETC) to find stuff you can sell and survive worth trying out.
