There's some bug with "beach hunting zone". i suddenly found it in the middle of the sea ;D (it was inaccessible, but glowing palm in the deep sea looks a bit strange). BTW, there is also some difficulties hunting in the "forest hunting zone". it is designed so that most of the monsters leave the location before you can even find them. Is that part of a plan or am i just inexperienced hunter? P.S. luv the game, IMHO the best of its kind P.P.S. sry for my rough English, i am, you know, a bit Russian ;D Attachments:

Found another bug. item "Ribbon" [all conditions] does not remove "burning" effect when consumed.
and maybe i am not the first to notice, but the spell "sentinel" [mp transfer] works incorrect when used on a caster. as i understand, it resets the amount of MP to the point after last battle (or i may be wrong, but anyways, the point is that you can restore HP and MP to all party members and then restore all the MP used for that).

There are literally hundreds of different hunts depending on region and type, so in the course of entering all those XY coordinates I undoubtedly made some errors, this being one of them with the Y value 10 tiles too many. As for the difficulty in the forest hunting area, I redesigned it several times but was never able to get it just right so the monsters didn't escape too easy. For the next patch I'll probably wall off some more screen edges at the very least. It's not supposed to be so easy for the animals to leave and waste your time.

Good catch on the Ribbon, it's using an old version of the skill "Purify" instead of the new one that is on Julia's and Meredith's skill lists that removes Burning. Sentinel is a simple MP transfer skill. The caster loses 250 MP, and the target gains that amount. It is pointless to use on the caster unless they are wearing equipment that reduces MP costs. Then the cost is less than 250 MP, but the caster still regains the full amount. Out of battle you can use this to completely restore the entire party's MP for free essentially, which is why you get this skill so late in the game.

Then "sentinel" skill still do not work so correct, because it don't restore MP to maximal value (and yeah, i am wearing Gold Hairpin). it stops at the position where it was after last battle.
P.S. Checked again... i was wrong, it just don't want to restore last 125 MP. looks like it adds MP before substracting ;D

I might be putting this in the wrong place, if so I apologize. I was in the forest hunting zone after vixen and willis joined and before going to the port town of fhorestain, i chased an animal and hit the edge of the screen while swinging (Glen hunting) and when it automatically took me too the world map, it was bigger. Or it had zoomed in or something. That and the tent just inside revirdork boundary disappeared. Is this a bug?

If the game actually zoomed in and displays graphics larger than they should be, then it's an engine error with resolution. I guess there could be some processing problem where the engine got confused with the unfinished code from hunting and the transition to a new map, but I've never heard or seen of such a thing before. If you could replicate and post a screen-shot of what it looks that would be helpful. You should be able to fix it by simply saving and reloading the game, though. The disappearing "Tent" is intentional. That is the nomad village of Alchiba as Kaca said above. It randomly moves around the world map every time it loads.

Unfortunately, DJC, I don't know how to post a screenshot, really. When you say reload, do you mean to exit out of the game completely and then reopening it? Thanks for the help.

Those are all of the possible hunts and that's their default starting location, where the events actually are created before being moved to random locations. Looks like they received random types (grass, forest, etc) but either the coordinate set function failed or the actual teleport event function failed. This usually only happens when the game is updated on you're on the world map. There's a pause when you enter the world map to give the hunt system time to process all the functions. Can you remember anything about how you entered the world map on this occasion?

Sort of this happened after I loaded a save from the Resume menu, just started playing. So I must have been on the Inceptum upper deck map right before. Don't remember much else I'm afraid.

This is not really a game-related bug but on windows xp, when you hit more than 5 times the shift key, a pop-up appears and interrupt the game.
