I saw a pic around here of Osama. And I remember there was this hilarious house full of people who followed him in the game. Could you tell me where this building it? I can't quite remember but I'm guessing it's where the sidequest to fight him begins.
Found it. I thought it was in Seraphia, not the eastern continent.

Jihad Central is in the town of Dale on the western tip of the East Continent, on the outskirts of the kingdom of Bridelveil. You don't actually have to go there, however, to start the quest to fight Osama. In fact you can go straight to Incultus Regnum castle out in the desert and fight him down in the dungeon.
As a boss, Osama is meant to be fought when you get the airship and return from the Forgotten Continent. He probably won't stand much of a chance against an end-game party at level 50. Your reward for defeating him is the Pink Tail, which I believe is traded for the Titanium ore to make the Titanium Shield/Armor/Helm at the Master Forge. This set is lightweight and has high defensive and increases agility.
Another secret boss you might have missed is deep in Progidium Nidus, an underground/underwater palace way out in the middle of nowhere. The tiny island it connects with on the ocean surface, Solus Insula, is not visible on any map. If you fly to the northeast corner of the world after Atlantis rises, however, and scan around you should find it. Progidium Nidus is meant to be done just before Atlantis since the extra sets of Genji and Nova equipment would still be useful then, but the enemies do remain challenging to max level parties.

hearing that rather worried me...though virtually all the rest of your final fantasy ripoffs references is sound, in FFIV the pink tail is traded for the Adamant ore to make the Adamant armor....just nitpicking, but still...

You're indeed correct, though it was much more difficult in FFIV to get the Pink Tail than it is in Everlong and therefore was a sufficient trade item for the Adamant Armor in that game. Pink Tail was simply used as an item name and I matched it up with the Titanium set, while making the Adamant Armor synthesized differently to properly reflect its worth in Everlong. I could have chosen a different name for the item, but it would still have served the same function. Still more I could go through and change the names of every item/character/monster/etc in Everlong to something 100% original, but in the end you'll still have the same gameplay. I could always do that someday if that's what players really desire, but to me it seems like constantly reinventing the wheel and I had more interesting things to do in making the game at the time.
