I was wondering if there was a forge list? Also, I don't want to sell anything if I might need it later to forge with it ... is it ok to sell off my earlier equipment?

I don't have a list of all the things you can forge at the moment, and it would take awhile to make one. I can tell you, however, that many of the ingredients necessary at the Costa del Sol forge can be bought at Revirdok, the big city at the southern tip of the East Continent. The shops there continually change as the plot progresses, though, so you have to revisit often. I would advise keeping as much equipment/weapons as you can unless you're strapped for cash if you want to make the most of the forges.

That's pretty much what I thought ... I'll just hold on to everything until I find the first forge I guess. Thanks guys!

Here's a list of stuff you might want to keep for use at the Costa del Sol forge: Silver Shield Gold Shield Brave Armor Reverb Magician Bangle White Ring Aqua Shield Blue Beret Giant Shield Fossil Armor Rune Bangle Sacrifice Fire Rod Ice Rod Thunder Rod Amazon Magician Robe Trojan Robe Epee Fire Knuckle Power Sash Blossom Robe Gargoyle Armor Gargoyle Helm Gigas Gloves Black Sword Battle Axe Javelyn Gold Plate Ninja Gear Taoist Crown Rune Ribbon Rune Cape Taoist Robe Sleeper Sword Mythril Band Flame Armor Ice Armor Heat Seeker Blizzard Butterfly Sword Sargantanas Ninja Armlet Platinum Armor Empower Ninja Bandana Platinum Helm Platinum Shield Feather Dress Gold Dress Archimedes Summit Hat Testament Wisdom Hood Flame Ribbon Gold Ribbon Mythril Helm Vulcan Archer Whew, that's a lot of stuff. It's not very useful to list it all as you can see because it's too much to remember not to sell or constantly compare to your inventory. Even if I made a whole table showing ingredients, end products, GP, and amounts that would be a lot of information. The best thing to do is just keep all items when you can, especially if they have elemental or status preventing properties. Those often are helpful in the future.

Do the vendors outside the city have the items or do you have to get into the city ?

Do the vendors outside the city have the items or do you have to get into the city ? You can never get into the city; no content was ever made for Revirdok besides the one area outside the wall and main gate. The merchants there will sell what you need for the Costa del Sol forge, but their inventories will change over time, usually adding more old stuff to buy.
