im on the white dragon, i decided to do that before the black one....for some reason i thought the black trial would be harder BUT the fight i just had lasted forever!!!AND I LOST i used massive amounts of ether because even after casting spear rain my attacks were minmal so i had to use my dragon spells, i also used alot of potions because even with regen my hp dipped low often. i thought if i cast aura i would absord holy attacks, but whenever it cast holy on me my hp went down??? drakeor is equipped with: freyas lance mirror shield tin armor kasier helm ribbon i have a whole slew of different equipment but this seemed to be the only way i could get his speed up to 300 any help would be appreciated guess i will try switching things around and start another LONG drawn out battle

Your equipment seems fine, I think... You'll need to watch out for some of WD's skills - they lower resistance VS white spells; You'll need to recast aura after that.
My suggestion is that you avoid using dragon spells; they cost too much MP and aren't cost effective - you lose out because you have to spend 1 extra turn replenishing MP every few attacks. Conserve your MP for "jump", "aura" and "regen" instead.
If you're doing minimal damage, use green cherries as appropriate - Spear rain + Might should put your damage in a very decent range.
for the white, black and grand dragon trials, forget about beating them quickly- they'll bury you even faster (you've probably noticed this already). Go for slow, steady, but sustainable fights instead.

Oh, I forgot. If you happen to have Boon, MP isn't a problem anymore - go ahead and splurge on dragon spells.
If WD casts a spell that lowers white resistence, it will have a down arrow next to a cross on the skill's name. Curse (I don't think he has that, I can't remember) lowers all resistances by default.
I believe DJC's given big hints on dealing with WD and BD before, but I can't remember where.

Crysen is correct that the White Dragon (and the Black Dragon) uses a spell that will lower elemental resistance. You have to counter this every time with another casting of Aura. The White Dragon's spell is Prayer, the Black Dragon's is Eclipse.
Also Crysen's suggestion of using a Green Cherry to inflict Might on yourself is a good idea. Combine that with regular attacks and you'll be outputting plenty of damage. The problem with using Spear Rain is the same as if you knew Black Dragon spell already; using it will deal too much damage and trigger a counter attack. Regular attacks should never trigger counter attacks, however, even if you deal more damage with them than the threshold (if the code is working, I sure thought I got it right).
Just remember to recast Aura after Prayer, recast Spear Rain after Protect, maintain Regen, and Dispel Protect, Might, and Focus. You do have to keep up constant pressure in this fight, because the White Dragon can heal itself with Angel Whisper. If your damage output is simply too low and the fight is dragging on, come back another time with a better weapon (like Gungir or White Spear). Otherwise your equipment looks pretty good. If you get the Titanium equipment you could replace your Kaiser helm with that, but that's about it.
Here's some more from the Boss thread (Walkthrough section): White Dragon For the White Dragon obviously you're going to want to max your Holy elemental protection. So you'll want to wear something (probably Mirror Shield) to give you some equipment based Holy protection, then stack that with the Aura skill. You'll then absorb all Holy damage, until you get hit Prayer, which will lower your resistance. Always counter this with another casting of Aura.
Step 2 is to have Regen (a skill scroll) equipped and keep that positive condition up as much as you can. It will get dispelled by Shatterclaw but then you can recast.
Next in importance is Jump, which you MUST have to dispel the positive conditions the White Dragon will use on itself (Might, Protect, Focus). Dispel these conditions as soon as you can before the boss uses them to its advantage.
If you don't have or plan on using the Black Dragon for your main offensive damage, you'll want Spear Rain so you can cause your spear attacks to do extra damage (don't use an axe). You'll have to recast it after Protect to make the White Dragon's resistance lower again. The Black Dragon will also become significantly less effective once the White Dragon casts Shadow Shroud.
Be aware of the status effects you'll face and prepare accordingly. A Ribbon might be a good idea if you can afford not using a Rabbit's Foot (try using Tin Armor or Titanium stuff instead if you have it). Strike causes Instant Death, very nasty if it hits. Virulent Claw can inflict Bleed, Blind, and Silence. Lunar Waves will put you to sleep.
Lastly try and max your speed, your target being over 300. Otherwise expect to take your turn after the White Dragon. Try and pay attention to the bosses' pattern of attacks. Knowing when Magic Missile is coming so you know the heal up before it can help you survive. Also if you get hit with Prayer its good to know if you're about to get blasted with White or White Breath, which will do massive damage if you're not absorbing them.
Remember you have to keep your damage up because the White Dragon casts Angel Whisper to heal as part of its pattern, so don't get too defensive.

Jump is the first of Drakeor's "Lance" skills. If it's activated but not working, try deactivating all his skills. Then exit the Skill Shard system. Then open it again, go back to Drakeor's page, and reactivate the skills you want. If something is bugged, this should fix it.
