:(I am having a terrible time, first the blue dragon, i gave up on that and now the terrapin.I have looked at the advice in the forum, and have used Glen Meredith Draketor Vetu but just can't beat it.Can somebody help please. This is definitely a tough battle and a good taste of the bosses you'll face in the future. Don't worry about the Blue Dragon too much, but remember to come back later when you are stronger. There is a very important item in that red chest, a Ribbon, which prevents all conditions. As for Terrapin, the first thing to do is decide if you want to ignore the body and its healing and just attack the head, or kill the body first to stop the healing. I strongly recommend destroying the body first, it's very difficult to out-damage its Healing Seed skill unless you attack it. For offense note that Terrapin is weak against both Ice and Bolt, so use elemental attacks of this type, such as Thunder Slash, Ramuh, Electrocute, Glacier, Ice Slash, Shiva, etc. Thunder Dragon probably won't do enough damage to be useful, so if you use Drakeor then attack or use Spear Rain. It can be difficult to keep Armor Break on the body since it will keep removing it, but it may be worth the effort if you're using Glen and both he and Drakeor are physically attacking. It's probably not worth the time trying to cast Might since the body casts Dispel and will remove all enchantments. It might be helpful to Mind Break the head and then immediately cast Slow on it as many times as possible before you need to cast a healing spell or Mind Break is removed. For defense it is important for everyone to have Fire/Ice/Bolt elemental protection, so use equipment that will help you with this. The reason Drakeor is so useful is he can cast Aura, which will give him protection against all three of these elements. If he is also wearing equipment that protects and casts Aura, he will be healed by the elemental damage. You can also casts Frost/Flame/Thunder Shell with your White Wizard if she has an extra turn to give any part member a boost in elemental defense. Protection against the Daze condition is useful against Shell Shock, but not necessary since it's only temporary. Instead try to remember when Shell Shock is used (start of battle, and after Eye Laser on entire party) and make sure you are healed before it is used. One last important thing is to DEFEND against Eye Laser when it is used on your entire party (not a single target). First you will see Eye Laser cast on a single target, followed by Aggressor's Folly. Then you will see the head take no action, just blink and do nothing. This is your cue to DEFEND immediately. Eye Laser will be cast next on the entire party. If you DEFEND you will halve the damage, very useful and will help party members survive.
