When I go on Story Mode, Brad starts off as level 6. Is it intentional?
Also, why does Brad remember his name now?

When I go on Story Mode, Brad starts off as level 6. Is it intentional? Also, why does Brad remember his name now? All characters start at level 1 no matter what mode you play in. Normal mode only adjusts when new heroes join the party or members are left out of the party later in the game and need to be balanced with your current party's levels. If you choose to adjust levels at any time or run into any scripted fights while in Story Mode, your hero levels will automatically increase to the maximum for that area as determined by the random encounter rate controller. Since you immediately get into a scripted fight in the Tyr-Anon jail at the very beginning and were in Story Mode, Brad got his level bumped up to the maximum for Tyr-Anon, which is currently 6. Normally you wouldn't achieve this level until you finish the entire plot sequence and exit Tyr-Anon Castle to flee through north outpost. Brad doesn't have amnesia anymore because I removed that from the story. It wasn't a very good plot device and was rather cliche and non-original.
