So, I'm playing Game+ and already have Jack Pidgeon recruited. It seems a little strange to exit the room in Tiro Amicus where Julia was attacked and have the guard tell me about the "odd captain" on the pier - especially since he is no longer there.

It seems a little strange to exit the room in Tiro Amicus where Julia was attacked and have the guard tell me about the "odd captain" on the pier - especially since he is no longer there. I added that little dialog to alert players who might otherwise miss Jack's presence and not recruit him. Not removing it on new game+ was an oversight, but easily corrected. Thanks for the report. I also think I'll boost the GP reward for his chests, since after all I increased the GP received from battles twofold or more in the new version.

Ah well. I have to say that I ended my first game with about 11 deposits in my bank account without doing any of the Jack quests. The amount of gold you get is kind of crazy in this new version.

Well I doubled it for most monsters since the price of equipment also rose, and I was mostly concerned with the early parts of the game not having enough money. Did you find this to be the case, or did you have plenty of GP to always buy what you wanted for every hero when new equipment was available? It probably does start to get really out of hand when you stop buying things often later in the game, especially once you reach the Forgotten Continent and the best equipment from then on is found in chests.

Well the way that I play - I rarely ever had a problem with money, but then I'm fairly conservative about using things and I always fight everything and search out every chest. In the previous version there was equipment which I didn't have money to buy and in this version I definitely don't have that problem. It would also make a difference if you were a first-time player I think - when you make mistakes or are inefficient then it can cost you more.
