error 01_Brad cannot be opened

After applying the patch, the game won't start and this error message occurs. Any help?

Okay, so it didn't have anything to do with the patch. Is it my graphics settings or what could cause this?

That error message should only display when the file doesn't exist, or a file with that name exists but is improperly formatted.

There are only two files used by the game with the name "01_Brad":
1) In the Charset folder
2) In the Faceset folder

Check inside those folders, which are within the main Everlong folder wherever you installed the game. See if the files exist. If not then the problem is obvious. If they are there, try opening them outside the game and re-saving them as .png files.

I just checked my install of the game, which the full and patch packages were created with, and both those files exist and are correctly formatted, so I'm not sure how you could be missing them or they could become corrupted.

I messed up putting the patch in and they weren't in the faceset folder. I just installed it again and replaced the files with the patch files. Now it's working.
