-Snowy mountain (near costa de sol I think). For some reason the snow effect stuck around with my save on screen, in shop menu's,through teleports, town changes, f12's,closing/reopening. Alleviated by changing party members (anywhere)
-Expirus fight (atlantis) . Sammy got ko'd and didn't atb up for a while on revive.
-Dwarf castle passage from basement (annoying 2 section rock waterfall place). Many times this occurs - get hit by a rock and you reload at the start but the moment you reload (b4 you get any input ability) you fall yet again. It would be funnier if I didn't fail that area a dozen times.
- Atlantis teleport to rift gate. If you tele to the tower you can not proceed straight (and hp/mp nodes reappear too?) . A frightening possible glitch indeed. Alleviated by walking back to alstair room (get a white flash I think) and doubling back. May not be a bug - but it got me steamed when I though I got this far to be glitched in such a horrible way.
Off topic stuff below
-Not bugs but the large amount of actionable locked doors in the early part of the game seem to be a waste of mental effort. Noticed further in you stopped making them where you interacted with them. If you ever polish- makes play a bit smoother for ocd folks.
- Was there ever any purpose to the 4 storage to left in brideveil?
- Any purpose to zell in occidus, laguna back room in presidental palace (asides from funny familiar people running around in the background)
-All of the mine shafts in the 3 beginner towns (methus and the ones names after metal), guard blocking room at east border town
I imagine a lot of the above places are just content that got cut/unfinished (like revidok).
Loving the game - almost done with it - you must have spent ungodly amount of time of npc's because there are a million towns with npc's out the wazoo and MOST of them have their dialogue updated at several points.
I read about a new game + dungeon - I am just doing the rift core now but I strongly hope there is a continue + where you can do it and stuff on the current file because rpg's are aways a one timer for me (so continue + would be good in next version if not already)

-Snowy mountain (near costa de sol I think). For some reason the snow effect stuck around with my save on screen, in shop menu's,through teleports, town changes, f12's,closing/reopening. Alleviated by changing party members (anywhere) Did this happen after entering a hunting area where it snowed? Or a dungeon? Is this the snowy mountain near the south center of the world? To fix this just go to an area where it normally snows and exit, such as Nex Cacumen or Occultus Gaza. I must have missed a teleport and not given it the clear weather command. This is a bug in the RM2K3 battle engine, caused by the special battle script effects in Everlong. I've worked hard to streamline code, but this bug reoccurs randomly no matter what. At least his ATB bar started working again. Usually the character simply becomes inactive and you're playing with only 3 heroes, which is devastating after fighting for 10 minutes against the more difficult bosses. This is an engine mistake again with its processing priority of events. I'll see if I can add an extra delay to help prevent this and force the coordinate trackers to reset. It looks like I created this bug when I implemented Fast Toggle and processing of events, and just cut and pasted the wrong code. Good catch on this bug, I'll be sure to fix it in the next update. I would like revamp many of the maps, not just the towns, and not just to remove doors. There's way too many NPCs, and while many of them have legitimate dialog, others just have one-liners or jokes because I got tired of writing or ran out of ideas. I was trying to make it seem like a real town with a reasonable population, but that's just too much content to make, leading to closed doors blocking off areas and NPCs with silly dialog. If I ever have time to do anything significant again with Everlong or another project, it could probably be better spent elsewhere. Zell, Laguna, and other cameos don't have much of a point. No secret quests. They'll have to be removed if Everlong ever goes commercial, and I'll have to change the Chocobos into something original and not yet copyrighted. There's no purpose to Bridelveil storage, but I was thinking about a mining mini-game where you could find more ores and bring them to smithies, among other rewards. This never got implemented and I never mapped out the silver mines tunnels in Seraphia, so there's nothing beyond the locked doors in the towns. There's a New Game+ similar to Chrono Trigger where you keep most of your stuff and retain all hero statistics, but you start over at the beginning of the story. Now that you bring it up, I ought to implement a Continue+ too like in Breath of Fire IV, where after you defeat the final boss and watch the ending you can save and reload just before the end. It wouldn't be that difficult to do. The only problem is the bonus dungeon, The Tomb of Khaer Magnus, would be very difficult without the second play-through. The monsters possess high stats, and you only match up with them well if you've played through at least twice to obtain more statistic boosting sources with your Beherits form the Skull Knight NPC. In the current version it will only appear when you start a New Game+ and you get a new journal entry. You have to play through the story until you at least get the ship to reach the island its on. Thanks for the bug reports and feedback, it helps improve them game for everyone!

As for the snow it was either the first bahamut area or one of the crystal places. Sorry don't recall exactly. Wasn't a hunt thing though- I never bothered with those. Also something else I remembered was there were 2 items I had that in the menu appeared as usable ones (white) but were equips . I think one of them was ribbon and the other a healing rod/staff or something along those lines for mages. I didn't play the game a second time through for khaer magnus - I wound up playing until I got foot control (brad, glen, sammy) and just "TestPlay" and walked through mountains to get to it to check it out. It looked pretty awesome - but with the control button held it was a breeze I'd hate to think of the commercial liabilities with this game - you'd be spending a solid year finding these little hidden things. Loved the FFV / mario rpg ship mix. Incredible !

As for the snow it was either the first bahamut area or one of the crystal places. Sorry don't recall exactly. Wasn't a hunt thing though- I never bothered with those. Well, there's no more crystals in the game, but I know the four dungeons you're talking about. The only one with snow is Caeruleus Silex, but it doesn't connect to the world map or airship. You do enter it via the town of Niveus, however, where there is snow. I'm guessing it either came from there, or Nex Cacumen where Beomaust's Lair is. There's a few items in the game like this that cast spells when used in battle. The Ribbon casts Purify, and the Life Staff casts Revive. Free magic during battle. You could do the Tomb of Khaer Magnus without fighting using the test play function, and get all the treasure. It's filled with puzzles more complicated than any other dungeon. I don't know if you would be able to survive the battle against him, though. Maybe if I implement a Continue+ option in the future, players won't have to do a second play-through to reach this bonus dungeon. There isn't that much in there that I would have to remove or rename. The largest work would be changing everything related to Chocobos. All the cameos can be easily deleted, and if I sold Everlong I would definitely have all original graphics and music.

You made a continue + I feel so flattered I may make a new run through It was a good suggestion. I probably should have thought of it and done it when I implemented New Game+ a long time ago, but sometimes it takes players to make designers see what they did wrong or forgot. There's a number of features in Everlong that were player suggested, and I'm proud to say they've helped make it a better game.
