Hi I am in the room that need to light 4 lights to remove the spikes. The problem is that I am stuck right in front of those spikes which are already removed(lights are still on). I tired many times, no matter the spikes are removed or not, I just get stuck there, and can't move anymore. The only way to make my team move again is to reload the save file. Without solving this problem I am not able to continue this game. pls help~~~Thanks£¡

Now I am sure it's a bug. After I reinstall the game without adding the patch V3.24, I can pass the spikes, however, V3.23 has problems running my last save file from V3.24, I can't save nor switch teams.

I think I changed something here because of another bug reported by a different player. Try downloading the v3.24 patch again, I just did a stealth update and there's a new version of the problem map in the archive now. See if that works. www.nealien.com/Everlong/Files/Everlong_v3.24_Patch.zipI'm assuming this is the first puzzle of the type involving lighting lanterns to remove spikes, then running past them.

The easiest way to reset them is to return to the World Map. That should automatically reactivate menu access.

You can always email me your save file (kickoutthejams@comcast.net) and I'll fix it for you. Send it as an attachment. If you don't know where to find it, look inside your main Everlong folder for files named "save01.lsd" or whatever save slot number you're using. I'll try and get it back to you promptly.

ok i sent an email and thanks again for this, im sorry about casuing u any problems Hey no problem, I got your email and sent your fixed save in reply. It only takes a few seconds to fix a save file in this manner. Really it's my fault for being lazy and not releasing an updated full version installation so players don't have to patch. I've just assumed players would immediately patch after downloading the main game before they even started and made a save. The important thing is you get back to playing and having fun. :-)

I seem to have the same problem as that listed above, but maybe I caused it myself. All was working well, but there were so many monsters I got impatient. So I changed to story mode while in this room, then couldn't switch teams - I just go to a black screen. So I reloaded, changed out of story mode and tried again, several times. That didn't fix it, assuming the story mode switch caused the problem in the first place. I just don't know. In any case, I can't change teams and cannot get the spikes to go down as described above. I could go back to an earlier save, but would forfeit all that money I've made fighting monsters . . . Please help, Gussie Attachments:

Please help, Gussie Story Mode wasn't the problem, you cannot turn it ON in bonus dungeons until you've cleared them by defeating the boss. It automatically turns itself off if that condition is not met. The issue was that the map ID for your other party had been incorrectly set, and was sending you to Purgatory but not returning the screen to normal. This should never happen since you cannot change parties in Purgatory and the variable that tracks where the parties are is not affected by one of the groups travelling to Purgatory. I've fixed your save file for you, and you should be able to continue. I have no idea where your other party was supposed to be, but I moved that group to where they should be so you can progress without missing any treasures. I was unable to duplicate this bug, but if it happens again try and remember the exact chain of events and what rooms you were in. There shouldn't be too many encounters since your heroes are all maximum level. Anything above level 95 there is considered above average and actually reduces the number of battles from normal.
