I made the Custom Menu disappear altogether by: - Saving inside purgatory - failing in the mini-game cave back to Ignis Castrum - Looking at Hammond's chararcter sheets After that third one, i reloaded my save again, tried to get inside the Aetherius received the message "scriptline out of range", but on the following try it didn't happen again. Also, for some reason, some of my accessories are now highllited as usable items in the menu. On an unrelated note, regarding the Ignis Castrum cave, the teleport (when failing) back from the third mini-game to the second puts you directly in the last rock's trajectory... Edit: Marowit is till defeatable by killing Marowit Right only. I repatched and did it a second time just to make sure. Sorry for the bad news...

I can't seem to replicate the menu error when saving in Purgatory. What kind of menu settings are you using (fast load, exit on save)? Where did you enter Purgatory from when this happened? The boulder mini-game path back to Ignis Castrum definitely has some problems, though it shouldn't interfere with the menu. The character book accessible via Hammond is also broken and has intentionally not been updated. There should be a warning message when you first load it, however, the error you described sounds like the engine having an unrelated problem. The accessories might be highlighted because some of them can be used as items in battle, though they should have no effect in the field. Just an engine display quirk. You're correct that I didn't fix the Marowit bug. There were two places that needed a change, and I only did that for one of them. Thanks for the bug reports!

I load it with esc., usually exit on "main menu" (a weird habit of mine). Anyway, I was in the Tyr-Anox forest.

Update: Seems that I can't seem to bring the Custom Menu either in Continue+ mode...

Update: Seems that I can't seem to bring the Custom Menu either in Continue+ mode... Going to the World Map or exiting and entering a vehicle should always reset the menu if there's a problem. I haven't been able to replicate the menu problems you're having. If you continue having a problem just email me your save file and I can manually fix it easily. A more permanent solution isn't possible with the RPG Maker engine. I'm waiting for Turbu so that I can rewrite the custom menu systems so they operate flawlessly without the convoluted code I'm forced to employ with rm2k3.

Hmmm. Now it only seems to do that in ToKM when I go back out of the extreme west underwater thingy, where the path is blocked. Going back to the wolrd map fixes that but restores the "escape dungeon" option along with. I did not try to see what that does, but going back in and back out fixes it anyway.
A really weird thing happened to me though. When I first walked through the door to the other underwater challenge (artifatcs), my character immediately collapsed - while NOT underwater, so I assumed it was poison gas, but when I entered the door again that didn't repeat. I'm not sure wether this is normal or not.^^

The Menu should still work, but I see one surface event that had the wrong menu command and disabled rather than enabled. I'll be sure to fix that. I think you might have immediately drowned due to the timer not being set before you teleport. There also is a bug where an non-underwater area could trigger drowning which I'll need to fix, so perhaps that's what happened to you.
