This game has been fun to go through the past couple days, but I seem to be having trouble with a particular enemy ability called Might makes Wrong. More often than not it wipes my party out and I'm not sure why or how it works. Sometimes it'll do nothing, other times it's more damage than I could ever have enough hp to survive. Any help would be appreciated as I'm currently fighting Muspell, have all the fire protection, but just that one ability ruins my day.

Might makes Wrong will hurt you if your heroes have the Might condition. Do not cast it on them and you will receive no damage. There are other enemy spells, like Rend Enchantments, that will damage based on positive conditions your heroes are enchanted with. For Muspell I also suggest using your White Wizard's Flame Shell to increase Fire resistance, and Drakeor's Aura works for him too.

Thanks, I did end up getting past the fight. I feel kinda dumb not realizing the ability was that simple.

Thanks, I did end up getting past the fight. I feel kinda dumb not realizing the ability was that simple. It only seems easy to figure out with hindsight. There's an NPC you can recruit, Mr. Miyagi, that describes how almost all of the special monster attacks work. Unfortunately I was never able to update his information, so much of it is outdated from older versions. There's much more complicated skills you'll see in the future so don't be afraid to ask for some clarification. :)
