1. Meredith and Glen go through the portal together. But then at the very end Meredith goes through again, after acknowledging Glen doesn't want her. I assume this isn't supposed to show if she's in the positive? 2. Julia talks about being violated even though that being removed, I assume now the scene that should show for her is being almost violated by the men she killed? Also, I don't remember in my playthrough years ago Meredith accepting that Glen doesn't want her in the credits. I thought they got together at the very end and openly acknowledged each other's feelings. Is some bug at play here, or was it always like this? Because it seems like the ending thinks Glen chose not to be with Meredith, when the player has chose nothing but positive reactions with her the entire playthrough. www.twitch.tv/the_roth/b/589500211 <-- Start of the portal credits bit, the rest of the ending is on the previous videos under Past Broadcasts.

He beat the final superboss on stream here too, but no bugs are involved. www.twitch.tv/the_roth/b/589863631I'm a little bit sad he didn't do the party swap attack more often, just to screw with the player. Maybe the next superboss you add will automatically remove any character who dies in battle and replace them with another character at random, just to add to the chaos.

That's definitely an error in the ending conditional logic if you saw Meredith's sequence separate or after Glen's, but had a sufficient affection rating for her to appear.
The ending has always been designed so that if your affection rating is positive but not high enough, Meredith or Vixen won't join Glen in the final scene.
I cannot remember what adjustment I made to Julia's ending in the last update, but was aware her sequence needed to be edited.
If I ever finish the anniversary edition, the entire ending will be changed and revolve around plot revelations concerning Expirius and the four heroes. The affection rating mechanic will be removed so the romances involving characters can be more substantial. Player influence over the romance choice just doesn't fit this type of game with an otherwise linear and inflexible story, and it put too much emphasis on Glen. He's not meant to be the main character.
Khaer Magnus shuffles the party at regular intervals after he finishes his entire pattern. You are guaranteed to get at least one healer. It was a bit of an experiment, but I have considered recycling the mechanic in a more extreme manner.

Odd. I watched the entire playthrough and the player never once insulted Meredith or put her down, only choosing neutral responses a few times. I do hope one day you can turn the game into something you can sell, take on a sprite artist and offer tham a % of profits based on game sales to redo... pretty much everything taken from other games. Would be nice to see all your hard work paying off.

Would be nice to see all your hard work paying off. Looking at the code, you need greater than or equal to +50 affection rating for Meredith to join Glen, or less than or equal to -50 for Vixen. Between 0 and 49 Meredith appears but doesn't join Glen, and between -1 and -49 the same for Vixen. This data might be outdated, but in my notes you can apparently have an affection rating somewhere between -80 and 76 by the Dreaming Forest, enough for either ending. So you need positive responses more than negative or neutral. Affection rating is variable 22 if you want to check it in the debug menu. Maybe some day in the distant future I'll pay for original art and remake Everlong, but first I need an alternative engine with a legal license and enhanced capabilities, both scripting and graphical. The best I can do for now is keep working on the anniversary update, which will at least bring the plot and characters closer to what I intended, while using DynRPG plugins to fix engine issues like battle speed or experience scaling.
