I'm truly loving the game. COOL! The only thing is...I'm hating the timed sequences. The awesome story and gameplay is keeping me glued to the story but I'm wondering why the game maker did not take pity on the loyal players (like me ) and make the time sequences easier or skippable or something. I had to use turbo slow in the tower of the witch when stepping on the tiles activated one of her clones. I thought I'd give up in the tower of Auctus as the monsters kept attacking me too and I had to see the "failed to escape" when I tried to click "run" and groan in frustration as the timer was showing less than a minute. I was so immersed into making it out that if someone had come to the room and asked me my name I couldn't remember it! I could only think of the tower and how to get out. But don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely loving the game! Even if its a free game its better than Aveyond. Every character has a unique personality. One thing I find very mischievious yet interesting is the greedy inkeepers who increase the price every time they see you are really in need of healing. It adds a touch of reality.

The timed sequences are going to get a bit of a revamp in the next version. These are always difficult to do so that the timing is fair but not too easy. The idea is to create an atmosphere of frantic desperation, but not frustration. In this case I am referring to the parts with timers, such as the escape from Auctus or the airship war.
Smaller puzzles like the witch phantoms chasing you in Veneficus' tower aren't timed, and they do have an auto-pass system in place. After X number of failures you are automatically booted ahead of the puzzle. In the next version there will be a text reminder for each puzzle like this (if you fail), and there will be a reward for successful completion I am hoping.
As for the Inn Keepers, they charge based on how muc HP/MP you need to replenish. Their rates double after the war as well.

Hi DJC! Just loving your game.. no not loving literally ADORING your game. I've played even more, the more I play I discover something wonderful. Whew! Thanx for that. I'll be waiting for the next version. Maybe 4 minutes without monsters would have been ideal for me but then again maybe you'd think I want it waay to easy! ;D Tower of Auctus seemes too much hard! The airship part seemed ok as it was possible to escape from the gargoyles and also the ship geography wasn't as complicated as the tower. (I hope u won't make it more difficult in the next version ) Smaller puzzles like the witch phantoms chasing you in Veneficus' tower aren't timed, and they do have an auto-pass system in place. After X number of failures you are automatically booted ahead of the puzzle. In the next version there will be a text reminder for each puzzle like this (if you fail), and there will be a reward for successful completion I am hoping. Yeah that sounds fair! If u complete it u get a reward and maybe if u choose to skip then you lose some experience or maybe 1 agility point or something. As for the Inn Keepers, they charge based on how muc HP/MP you need to replenish. Their rates double after the war as well. Loved the inn part. Like I said their greediness seems so realistic. Real life shopkeepers try to be just as adamant if they realize u want something badly. Anyway.. I'll go play some more.

i just discovered the wonderful world of RPGs. Between this game and Aveyond i think i'm spoiled for all other games. A amazingly intricate & involved plot, cute graphics, and sweet music basically set the standard by which i measure all the other RPGs to. and sadly, there hasn't been any competition that have come even remotely close. regardless of that, this is an awesomely addictive game and thanks for sharing it with us. Keep it up! ;D

Sorry to disappoint rocket, but v3.0 is mostly a battle upgrade. There will be few visual changes except to battles. Most of the game will look exactly the same as the 2k version.
What you will have are lots of new battle animations, all new battle sprites and weapon sprites, and some new monster graphics (as far as new graphics go that is, there will be much more in the new version besides these things).
