when you get to the forgotten continent do you ever get to leave or is that the ending of the game when you have done everything there ........when do you get the airship after or before you go to the forgotten continent i feel like i might have missed a whole lot

The Forgotten Continent is not the end of the game. Once you make your way through Nemus Aevum and reach the White Shrine you will acquire the airship. After that there are still five more regular dungeons, and several secret ones you will now be able to reach. These include Triangle Mountain, Nex Cacumen, the Phoenix Cave, and Progidium Nidus.
