Ok, so I've gotten all of the crystals and Atlantis has risen! Before I go, though, I wanted to wrap up some loose ends that I just can't figure out: 1. Who can mend the pumice pieces? 2. Still missing the Raccoondog doll, the lunar harp, and the moon pearls. 3. I can't figure out how to beat Bahumut. Grrr. 4. I can't get the drill from the king (I go into the basement, but I must be missing something.) 5. I don't know what I need to do to tell the sword-making guy to do something after giving him the adamant. Any HINTS would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

1) The Master Synth can reforge the Pumice Pieces once you have both of them and he's already given you Excalibur. In addition to the Pumice Pieces you can also give him other ores you might have acquired by then and he will synthesize other weapons and armor for each one.
2) The Raccoondog Doll, Lunar Harp, and Moon Pearl (all necessary to recruit certain NPCs) can be obtained at the Battle Arena by trading in your Battle Points at the prize shop. There is also a special mini-quest to get a free Lunar Harp, but it must be done in sequence and toward the beginning of the game.
3) To defeat Bahamut have every team member defend against Mega Flare when his countdown reaches zero. Also if you bring a White Wizard along you can cast Protect to raise the defense of your heroes. Make sure you take characters with 999 HP and high base Defense.
4) You can't obtain the Drill from Edgar at Incultus Regnum as an item. Once you bring him the Technology Monthly magazine he will automatically send it to the Valiantide Base at Triangle Island. The expansion rooms there are not completed until after finishing the Forgotten Continent, but since you're past that you can go explore them and pick up a few more treasures and books.
5) The Master Synth needs both the Adamant Ore and the Legend sword to reforge Excalibur. The Legend is in a lone chest in Nemus Aevum. Take the path that led to Guardian Dragona (left from the second stone knight) and search the big room with all the stone castles. Because of the point you're at in the game, the smithy will be finished forging Excalibur as soon as you give him the materials. Afterwards he will forge other things for you from ores, and his assistants will also synthesize some useful items, weapons, and equipment.
