Watts the forger could forge some good equipment/weapons at Costa island, but I couldn't forge what I wanted because I had sold off/or didn't buy some items. Here's a list of the equipment/weapons needed, so that you don't accidentally sell off something that you might want later ;D Some of the items are from monster chests, others can be bought at the stores.

So, I was wondering if anyone could recommend which items to get. When I first started playing Everlong, I would sell off the old equipment to make it easier to afford the new stuff. But then I found Watt and realized I didn't have alot of the equipment necassary to forge the new ones. So, that's why I was wondering if I needed any of it, and which of the items I needed.

That's not so easy to answer. It all depends on the circumstances you're in and the (kind of) monster you're about to fight.

Most of the more advanced equipment has a certain extra, like fire elemental protection, and stuff like that. It might be that you will equip a shield providing you with fire elemental protection, for instance, for a certain fight, even though the defence value in itself is lower than some other shield you have.

That's the reason that it's wise to always save just before you're going to fight some boss-beast. You can see what it hits you with and adapt your equipment, if necessary.

So far, I never sold anything (it's a wonder the party can carry all that ;D). Especially later on in the game it gets very easy to raise the money, so that doesn't have to be an issue.
