:'(How do you kill Marowit,I have read the strategy guide and tried agility and mind break but to no avail.Has anyone who has passed this point give me any tips please. Are you playing the 2.x or 3.x version? You posted in the rm2k section, but I'm assuming you're playing the much newer version 3.x that uses rm2k3 and has side-view battles. Let me know if I'm wrong, but if you are playing the current version then make sure you post in the rm2k3 board section so nobody gets confused in the future. As for Marowit, one of the most important things is protection against the Stone condition. You will want to wear White Cape accessories and equip someone with the Tortoise Shield, which is a treasure in East Tower (the dungeon you are in). Also critical to success is elemental protection. Almost all of Marowit's attacks are elemental spells. The more pieces of equipment you have that can reduce elemental damage the better. Don't worry about defense for this battle since he doesn't physically attack you. Blue/Yellow/Green Berets are good, same with elemental rings like Earth Ring or Water Ring, Flame Ribbon, etc. You can also have your White Wizard cast some shell spells to further reduce elemental damage, or if combined with elemental equipment you'll absorb Marowit's spells and be healed. I can't stress how important elemental protection is for this battle, and in the battles to come. When Marowit casts Safeguard, you'll want to inflict Armor Break on him again if you are physically attacking. Dispel will make maintaining enchantments like Might or Focus very difficult and not worth the time. Do pay attention to Dispel, however, because this is a cue to heal your party right away. Marowit will use Shared Pain after Dispel, and this will hurt bad if your party is low on HP.
